Rachet Lock Vine-Lines
What a great product! Makes growing tomatoes, cucumber and other vine crops simple as a squeeze! The ratchet lock vine lines are suspended from a horizontally strung wire which goes over the center of each plant. The optimal height of this wire is 6-10', depending on the variety of cultivar and the constraints of your growing space. Vine lines can also be attached to a solid structure or framing directly above each plant. The ratchet lock vine lines are then manually released and line is pulled down to the base of the plant where it is attached to the stalk with a vine clip. As the plant grows taller, additional clips are attached to the vine for support. When the plants reach the top of the horizontal support wire additional line is let out as ripening fruit is stripped from the bottom and the plant is lowered so that it may continue to grow verticallyWith this method and single stem pruning, your vine crops will produce fruit all season long without overgrowing your garden area.
